What kind of Performances do we know?
Talk to others [listening & speaking]- what kinds of performances do we watch: movies, plays, dance....Write about 4 things: describe them and add links/pictures/videos to make it interesting.
I saw Ann-Droid at the Theatre Royal in the holidays.I went with my 4 year old grandson, he set it was marvelous. He especially liked the remote controlled balls. It had projected images and they acted as though it was a touch screen. It was based on the story of Pinocchio, about a robot learning to be a person. It was like a video game as she got points for each level.

Talking TASK

7Rc 18 February Telling Stories
How can we use our bodies to tell a story.
Today we are going to look at some vocabulary to describe how we are using our bodies.
In your connect book you will draw FACES. We played Copy circle and timing games with the ball. Some people were very good at controlling their energy especially in relaxing.

First week
In your book you should have a diagram of body parts. We are learning some vocabulary about movement so we can reflect on what were are learning.
Use the vocabulary in sentences.
eg: We used floor pattern when stood in a circle to play games.
We used {focus/energy/levels/timing/eye contact} when...
Some good questions were asked. What is Drama? Is this Drama? What do you need to create Drama? Discuss this with someone else.

Number ONE class of 2016 - 8Tz
8Tz - Drama Room period 3 Friday 5/2/16.We will do some work on BODY MOVEMENT as we get to know each other. This blog will be our record of class work. You will bring your connect book to each lesson as a workbook. You will learn how to look at the blog from home to see our shared work.We played games COPY CIRCLE; YES LETS; MAGIC MOVER: TIME BALL.
